Importing Exchange Rates
Manual import
Go to General ledger → Currencies → Import currency exchange rates. Choose the Global Exchange Rates provider, set the date range and the exchange rate type, then confirm. The app downloads rates for the currency pairs defined in the exchange rate type — each from its assigned central bank where configured (see Providers & Currency Sources).
Scheduled import
Run Import currency exchange rates in batch to keep rates up to date automatically. Set a recurrence (for example, every morning) so each legal entity always has current rates.
Historical rates
Set a start date in the past in the import dialog to backfill historical rates for providers that support history. Providers without historical data return only the most recent rates.
Reference currency
By default, rates are imported against the legal entity's accounting currency. When you configure a Base currency source (see Providers & Currency Sources), the pairs based on that currency are imported against that currency instead — so you can maintain pairs whose base is not the accounting currency.
